about
Many cases of people got locked up for doing nothing, and for doing what is right and does not have the chance to protect themselves because they are being manipulated/sabotaged by the higher power, and they don’t have enough money and power to fight.
lyrics
Why I’m being scared of doing nothing
Locked up in a cold dark room
With my mind is fucking losing
When I’ll be home?
Will I be home?
The rules must be something
That I won’t forget
I raise my voice
In despair I ended
Fuck you
We were not guilty
You won’t ever forget my name
I just wanna be home to my
To my friends and family
How could you live with the mistake
The mistake that you know you did
Will I be home?

Insane album. Had to buy it as soon as I heard it and is honestly a 2023 AOTY contender for me. The lyrics are so simple yet evocative and the music is a vicious scream for change in a unchanging world and contempt for the way everything is and seemingly will be/has been for all of our history. I heard Deathless before this and this just absolutely blows it out of the water. sum1elses
